Building the Future of Music with Keylabs
OMNIUX built a prototype for Keylabs’ interactive voting platform, featured on TheSushiDragon’s Livestream.
OMNIUX Developed an Interactive Prototype that was Used Live on the Front Page of Twitch
OMNIUX worked with Keylabs to build an early prototype of their Keylabs platform. This prototype consisted of three key elements;
The VST audio plugin was created using JUCE and C++, allowing the user to record sounds in real time directly from their digital audio workstation and upload them directly to Keylabs’ servers.
The desktop app, built using React and Electron, allowed the user to manage their projects, track the progress of their polls, as well as manage the audio recorded via the plugin. This desktop application used a special caching algorithm to maintain parity between the server and the VST audio plugin, allowing the user to control the VST using the desktop app, and vice-versa.
The web application was built using Payload v3 beta, along with NextJS 14. This groundbreaking new framework allowed OMNIUX to generate polls with audio players and vote tracking. Authentication was used behind the scenes to track who voted for what sound, as well as prevent vote duplication issues.
